What is a Drum Circle ?

In its simplest form, a drum circle is a group of people who use drums and percussion to make "in-the-moment" music. People come together to play on the same drum or individual drums and use their mental and physical energy to harmoniously converge upon a mutually shared experience. This mutually sahred experience is one of the reasons why people continue to come together to play in drum circles.
